ABOUT US
St. Mariam Thresia Mission in Sheffield is a vibrant Catholic Syro-Malabar Church that serves the spiritual needs of the Indian Catholic Syro-Malabar community in the city and the surrounding areas. The mission is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Hallam in Great Britain.

The community is named after St. Mariam Thresia, the Indian mystic and founder of the Congregation of the Holy Family. The mission's devotion to St. Mariam Thresia reflects its commitment to her values of prayer, service, and compassion for the poor and marginalized.

As a Catholic community, St. Mariam Thresia Mission is an important institution for maintaining and nourishing the faith of its community members. Churches play a vital role in our lives as they offer a space for communal worship, spiritual guidance, and community service. By attending Mass and participating in the sacraments, we deepen our connection with God and strengthen our faith.

Moreover, churches provide a sense of belonging and fellowship with like-minded individuals who share our faith and values. In a world where we can often feel disconnected and isolated, the community of a church can provide much-needed support and a sense of purpose.

St. Mariam Thresia Mission is an essential part of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Great Britain and serves as a beacon of faith, hope, and love to its members and the wider community.
